[So PDA-wielding peeps might get a newsletter of sorts sent to their email, PDA, whatever you have that might be hooked up to the internet, as a forward.]

The (Unofficial) Domino Investigative Journal: December 3rd, 2011
The Big Scoop on what you really need to know!

Welcome, faithful Amateur Investigators, to the December 3rd edition of the D.I.J.! For all those reading, glad that you've stuck with me - your faithful, anonymous investigator - for so long! Have I got the scoop for you this week!

Merciless Muggings in Domino City!?

Watch your wallets and police your purses, gents and ladies! My sources confirm that muggings have been stepping up in Domino City! At least one person investigated has reported a mugging. Luckily the poor victim wasn't hurt, but let that be a cry to all you Investigators - get ready to police the streets!

My personal suggestion is to follow that old adage - speak softly and carry a big stick! If you can hide something blunt and weighty under your clothing, do so and wait until you see danger strike! Then batter up! They'll be down for the count in no time!

Duel Spirit Poacher: Decked and delivered to Justice!

Earlier in the week, my sources confirmed that the unknown Duel Spirit poacher reportedly on the loose had been brought down to size! Reports are conflicting, but seem to mention a buxom and beautiful - yet unknown heroine, bringing down the baddie through a solo effort! D.I.J. Could not get an identity confirmation to get a comment, but it seems there's a human who keeps you lovely Duel Spirits safe at night! Or maybe it's a rogue Elemental Hero? Who's to say?

D-Wheel Delinquency: On The Rise?

You're hearing it here first: Duel Gangs are on the rise again! With the upcoming WRGP, the gangs are trying their hardest too claim territory for their own, and gather resources to enter the WRGP by any means necessary! Some of the larger gangs - Gang Pomato, Mecha Threshers, and Disaster-Risk have all been sighted having D-Wheels, so watch out, Investigators!

Trouble for Businesses during the Holiday Season?

Sounds like a lot of businesses have been having some trouble recently. In addition to reports of minor robberies throughout the area(That's your cue, Investigators!), store sales are lacking due to the recent economic slump. Some stores however have reported a rise in sales with the stocking of new items as a result of the Duel Monster immigration influx! Most smaller stores aside from specialty shops don't have access to these, yet. So if you're looking to grab someone some nice equipment from the 12 Dimensions, you'll have to look to your larger department stores for your needs!

Skull Servant Shenanigans?

It seems that the legions of Skull Servants are moving in more coordinated patterns than recently - perhaps their king has immigrated? Purchases of Real Estate and other big purchases in the Domino economy have not been uncommon among them. They seem to be up to something, but what? Beware of haunted houses, and if you suspect you've inhabited a house linked to Zombie World, or sold by a Skull Servant, remember to check the usual signs! A creepy lingering smell of rot, groans in the attic, and pentagrams in the basement. Safety is paramount, Investigators!

Samasus: Cult or Clan?

Many reports have been coming in worrying about the illustrious Samasus: A Japanese family with many relatives living in the Domino area. Is this truth... or are they a supernatural cult? Bystanders have reported seeing either a girl or a boy with imporbable fire skills, a man who looks more like a wolf in the full moon, and a woman who looked like she could easily blend in with the plantlife itself! Citizens are worried that these "Samasus" are actually a cult given supernatural superiority over modern-day humans! If you spot one, remember to be careful! If you think you've spotted a Samasu, do not alienate them! Treat them as friends, but remember to get the scoop!

Kidnappings in Domino City!

And to end on a less enthusiastic note, it seems there have been multiple missing persons reports going around Domino city. I don't have nearly as much on this as my other stories, Investigators... so that's where you come in! If you find out anything about the extensive kidnappings, drop me a line through the attached reply feed! I'll be sure to conduct my own detective work alongside my faithful Investigators!

Remember to stick around for our next issue: "Are the Amazons here, and out to collect husbands?" "Girls in Domino: Connection to the Goddesses of Old?" and our feature article: "What Measure Is A Non-Spirit: Our Look At Some Of The More Well-Known Women in Domino City!" And of course, more stories will role in as Investigations progress!

Until next time, I've got sleuthing to do!
